Welcome to Human Performance

The Human Performance Division offers a wide range of programs centered around sports, health, and wellness. We have two pre-professional programs for students who plan to attend graduate school: Sport Medicine – Exercise Science and Sport Medicine – Pre-Athletic Training. Another Sport Medicine program – Fitness/Wellness, is designed specifically for students who want to go to the workforce immediately after graduating. We also offer a fully online certificate in Fitness and Sport Training, a one year program that embeds four National Academy of Sports Medicine certifications. Health and Physical Education is a dual certification program for all grade levels for students who plan to teach and coach in the K-12 setting.

Sport Management is offered in-person in Campbellsville and Harrodsburg, and online. This program teaches students how to work successfully in the business of sports and is offered at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Public Health is a fully online undergraduate program that strives to provide a foundational understanding of important principles and strategies in human health, equipping students for a rewarding career in public health or corporate wellness initiatives.

Mission

The mission of the Division of Human Performance is to develop students in a Christian atmosphere in the disciplines of Health & Physical Education With or Without Teaching, Sport Leadership and Sport Medicine. The course work required in each of these disciplines will professionally prepare students in their respective fields to be life long learners and servant leaders.

If you wish to speak to a class, please reach out to Dr. Willis, Chair of Human Performance (contact information below). If you wish to give financially, you are welcome to use this link.
